Nord Gas Solutions operates globally and provides engineering services for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, plus onshore and offshore projects. We seek a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in maritime or process industries to design systems and specify equipment.

The role involves coordinating with customers, suppliers, and third parties, plus supporting commissioning, start-up, and FAT activities at supplier facilities. Fluent English and willingness to travel are required.

Formación

• Experience from maritime, Oil & Gas and/or process industry engineering.
• Technical knowledge of rotating and/or static mechanical equipment (Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Pumps, Compressors, Valves)
• Familiarity with Classification Societies rules for marine industry (DNV, BV, LRS, ABS etc.)
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Ability to work in a multinational team
• Fluent English language, both verbally and in writing

Our requirements

• BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience from maritime, Oil & Gas and/or process industry engineering
• Technical knowledge of rotating and/or static mechanical equipment (such as: Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Pumps, Compressors, Valves), mechanical design standards and materials
• Familiarity with applicable Classification Societies rules for marine industry (DNV, BV, LRS, ABS etc.)
• Willingness to travel if needed, occasional business trips
• Ability to work in a multinational team
• Fluent English language, both verbally and in writing
• Minimum 3 years of professional relevant experience
