Job summary

TK Elevator Norte, based in Asturias, Spain, is seeking a CAD Drafter to prepare installation drawings and 3D models for escalator and moving walkway projects. You will create 2D installation drawings, develop manufacturing and assembly drawings, and generate BOMs in an engineering office environment.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Technician Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or Mechanical Manufacturing, strong CAD proficiency, and good English.

Qualifications

• Higher Technician Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or Mechanical Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD and parametric 3D CAD software.
• Previous drafter/CAD technician experience is an advantage.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Proactive ability to develop designs and technical drawings in an engineering office.

Mission

To prepare installation drawings for escalator and moving walkway projects based on architectural drawings, and to develop 3D models, production drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) for various structural assemblies of escalators and moving walkways.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of installation drawings for tender and sales proposals based on architectural drawings using an automated CAD system.
• Preparation of transportation drawings using an automated CAD system.
• Development of 3D models and manufacturing and assembly drawings for various escalator and moving walkway assemblies.
• Creation of product codes within the production system.
• Preparation of bills of materials (BOMs).

Requirements

• Higher Technician Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or Higher Technician Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD and parametric 3D CAD software.
• Previous experience as a drafter/CAD technician will be an advantage.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Proactive individual with the ability to develop designs and technical drawings within an engineering office environment.

• Programming knowledge (Excel Macros or similar).
• Training in BIM methodology.
