Sécheron Hasler Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Madrid team. You will develop and deliver comprehensive mechanical engineering designs for assigned projects, and prepare detailed manufacturing documentation to support production.

The role requires 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, English communication, and willingness to travel. Collaboration across disciplines and a focus on exceptional quality are essential in this dynamic environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Ability to communicate in English; other languages a plus.

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Madrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during the sales and proposal stages.
• Participate in internal and customer project kick-off meetings for assigned projects.
• Review tender documentation against customer specifications, Sécheron standards, and cost calculations.
• Coordinate and conduct site surveys when required, including international travel.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive mechanical engineering designs for assigned projects.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation to support production.
• Provide engineering support to production, including functional testing and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) when required.
• Support the Project Manager during customer reviews and approvals of mechanical designs.
• Prepare and coordinate technical responses to customer inquiries through the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the energy transmission and distribution industry or in the design of special-purpose industrial machinery.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish, French, German or Portuguese would be a plus.
• Availability to travel.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team.
