Gracia101 Talent Solutions is seeking an MDm Consultant for a global organization based in Barcelona. You will design and maintain Master Data Management processes to meet business needs and promote consistency across the company.

The role acts as the key liaison with IT and MDM Technical Solutions to implement, support and improve MDM solutions, using SAP and Informatica, and to ensure data readiness and governance.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Engineering/Business administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Data Management.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in a multinational company with cross-cultural exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Design Master Data Management processes within own area in line with group policies.
• Document owned processes and support internal/external audits.
• Support M&A and IT projects by defining MDM data setup.
• Lead design workshops and interface with Informatica MDM solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and SAP teams on backend master data objects.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain data catalogs.

Gracia101 is looking for an MDM Consultant on behalf of a global organization based in Barcelona.

This role is responsible for designing and maintaining Master Data Management (MDM) processes within their area, ensuring these processes meet business needs while promoting consistency across the organization. The role holder will ensure MDM processes remain aligned with company policies and the broader operating model, and will act as the key point of contact with IT and MDM Technical Solutions teams to implement and support MDM solutions.

Key accountabilities:

• Design Master Data Management processes in own area. Ensure processes are compliant to group Policies and DoAs. Ensure MDM processes fulfil the needs of –and are validated by –process stakeholders,
• Ensure all owned processes are documented according to standards. Support audits (ISO certifications, customer audits..),
• Support M&A and IT projects (such as ERP implementation) by defining adequate Master Data setup and processes,
• May lead work packages for solution implementation projects (including running design workshops)
• Interface with MDM Technical Solutions to implement technical solutions in Informatica,
• Interface with IT to implement technical solutions in backend SAP systems.
• Engage with MDM Services for implementation of process or solution changes.
• Define cleansing rules with data owners for ensuring owned data readiness for transformation projects
• Provide third level support to MDM Services teams (what to do if not in the books)
• Follow-up on MDM continuous improvement initiatives in own area.
• Ensure continuous dialogue with process stakeholders and MDM Services teams to nourish continuous improvement process.
• Keep documentation and data assets (data catalog) up-to-date for own area

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering or Business administration or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Master Data Management
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience in a multinational company / exposure to diverse cultures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
• Strong SAP expertise, in particular regardingmaster data objects in own area
• Proficient in process modeling and design
• Good communication and presentation skills.
