Galderma is seeking a hands-on Material Scientist to join a highly technical team in Barcelona. The role focuses on understanding, characterizing, and optimizing materials used in products and packaging, ensuring compatibility and performance in regulated environments.

The candidate will work across Product Science, MS&T, and Quality to translate findings into actionable documentation and improve material interactions in a global portfolio.

Formación

• MSc or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3–8+ years in pharma, biotech, cosmetics, or injectable/aesthetic products.
• Strong expertise in material characterization and analytical techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and characterize materials and their chemical composition and behavior.
• Understand interactions between raw materials and packaging (tubes, bottles, etc.).
• Assess how supplier differences impact material performance and product quality.
• Investigate material-related issues and drive practical, science-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product Science, MS&T, and Quality.
• Translate complex findings into clear technical documentation and presentations.
