Job summary

Nestlé S.A. in Barcelona seeks a Master Data Steward to join the Planning Service Center. You will define and govern master data rules, monitor data quality, and drive automation initiatives across DSP processes in PSC and in-market teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of data management or data-quality experience.
• 2+ years of multinational environment experience.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data-quality principles.
• Hands-on experience with data-quality and automation tools.
• Good understanding of Nestlé's business environment.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and govern master data rules, standards and templates for DSP processes.
• Ensure master data readiness to support smooth daily operational processes.
• Collaborate with Excellence Stewards to ensure data standards are clear and consistent.
• Oversee master data quality through regular health checks and corrective actions.
• Monitor master data quality KPIs and analyze root causes of recurring issues.
• Identify, prioritize and drive automation opportunities in master data maintenance and quality-control processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for master data topics between the PSC and in-market organizations.
• Assess master data requirements for new processes, system changes and improvements.
• Support the achievement of defined master data quality targets for completeness and accuracy.
• Help prevent operational disruptions caused by missing or incorrect master data.
• Reduce manual effort through automated data-quality checks and support planning processes.
