This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of SAP master data, focusing on Finance Master Data like Profit Centers and General Ledger Accounts. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Management. Candidates based in Spain may be permanent employees, while others must be freelancers.

Formación

• Proven experience working as a Master Data Consultant or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Management (Finance focus).
• Strong background in SAP Finance Master Data including Profit Centers, Cost Centers, and General Ledger Accounts.

Responsabilidades

Gracia101 is seeking a Master Data Consultant to join our team and support one of our multinational clients. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of SAP master data across financial and operational domains, with a particular focus on SAP Finance Master Data such as Profit Centers, Cost Centers, and General Ledger Accounts .

If based in Spain it can be permanent employee, if based elsewhere within the EU you must be a freelancer.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure master data integrity in key systems and maintain robust processes to support high data quality standards.
• Monitor, analyze, and manage SAP master data, including key data and master relationship data across the organization.
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and drive initiatives for error detection, correction, and process enhancement.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards to define and implement data strategies, policies, controls, and governance programs ensuring enterprise data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Oversee the quality and consistency of Finance Master Data (Profit Centers, Cost Centers, GL Accounts) to ensure alignment with business and financial rules.
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives by coordinating with functional data owners across finance and operations.
• Manage and resolve data issues or discrepancies, ensuring adherence to established data standards and compliance requirements.
• Assist with master data migrations, updates, and maintenance activities, including mass updates and LSMW executions .
• Monitor and troubleshoot IDoc flows to ensure smooth data integration between systems.
• Partner with business and IT teams to ensure master data rules align with system operations and business needs.

Requirements :

• Proven experience working as a Master Data Consultant or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Management (Finance focus).
• Strong background in SAP Finance Master Data including Profit Centers, Cost Centers, and General Ledger Accounts .
• Proficiency in LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and mass data updates .
• Knowledge of IDoc monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
