ECM Talent is seeking a Global Data Steward for an SAP S/4HANA transformation based in or near Barcelona. The role is hybrid, onsite every other week with remote work, initially 6 months+ and ASAP start.

You will govern Master Data, support data migration and validation, and coordinate with global data owners and local stakeholders across a major ERP transformation.

Formación

• End-to-end business process knowledge across global Master Data domains.
• Deep Master Data expertise in SAP environments.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
• Experience with Data Migration, validation and reconciliation.
• Strong Data Governance and Data Quality understanding.
• Root cause analysis of data defects.
• Good technical understanding of SAP and data issues.
• Proven international stakeholder and Change Management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support global end to end business processes and related Master Data topics.
• Govern and coordinate Master Data within the S/4HANA transformation project.

• Ensure alignment with global data standards and governance principles.
• Support local countries in adopting global process and data standards.

• Support Change Management activities throughout the transformation.

Global Data Steward – S/4HANA Transformation

Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid, every other week onsite) & Remote

Contract Length: 6 months+ (likely to extend longer)

Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Global Data Steward to join an international SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. You will support global end to end business processes and related Master Data topics, governing and coordinating Master Data across the transformation project. This is a hybrid contract role based in or near Barcelona, with onsite presence required every other week.

• Support global end to end business processes and related Master Data topics

Requirements

• Very good end to end Business Process knowledge
• In-depth Master Data expertise
• Strong hands‑on SAP S/4HANA transformation experience
• Very good experience in Data Migration, validation and reconciliation
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality and harmonization
• Experience in defect analysis and root cause identification
• Good technical understanding of SAP and data-related issues
• Strong international stakeholder and Change Management experience

Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months+ (likely to extend longer)
• Working pattern: Onsite in Barcelona every other week, remote otherwise
