A leading technology firm is looking for an MDM Specialist to lead the implementation and management of master data in a retail network. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Semarchy and experience in data modeling, system integration, and governance. Strong proficiency in SQL and fluency in English and Spanish are required. This role is fully remote based in Spain.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience implementing Semarchy xDM or other MDM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of master data modeling.
• Experience integrating MDM solutions with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM).
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployments and infrastructure.
• Ability to design workflows, validation rules, and user interfaces.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) – mandatory.

Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist – Semarchy
100% Remote – Spain

We are looking for an MDM Specialist with experience in Semarchy to lead the implementation and management of master data in a retail network. The ideal candidate will have both technical and functional expertise in data modeling, system integration, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements related to master data.
• Define data quality and governance rules.
• Design and implement:

• Data models and validation rules.
• Lifecycle workflows for master data entities.
• User interfaces for data visualization and management.
• Role-based access controls and permissions.

Integrate the MDM tool with internal and external systems (ERP, CRM, transactional systems).

Conduct unit, integration, performance, and data quality testing.

Deliver technical and functional documentation and support the initial adoption phase.

Technology Stack

• MDM: Semarchy xDM (cloud); experience with Informatica is a plus.
• Cloud: AWS (Glue, Lambda, S3), EKS, EC2.
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL (optional).
• Integration: DBT, ETL tools (Talend, Informatica), AWS Glue, REST APIs, JDBC.
• Workflows & UI: Semarchy built-in workflow engine, custom UI configuration.
• Data Quality & Governance: Semarchy DQ rules, business rule engine.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Confluence, Jira, Git.
