A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Marketing Director based in Barcelona to drive their vision across emerging markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, proven experience in the pharmaceutical sector, and leadership skills. Fluency in Spanish, English, and French is required. This role supports services primarily in Africa and involves high-level strategic responsibilities.

Formación

Apexfarma SLU is opening a key position for a Marketing Director to help shape and drive their vision across emerging markets, as part of their strategic expansion.

Based in Barcelona, this role will be instrumental in supporting our turnkey pharmaceutical services across Africa mainly.

Your main challenges

• Design and implement a global, multi‑brand marketing strategy tailored to each market.
• Lead launches and campaigns that generate impact and brand consolidation.
• Efficiently manage the international budget and resources.
• Coordinate the central team and support local teams in their development and execution.
• Drive market intelligence and identify new growth opportunities.

What we are looking for

• Higher education in Marketing, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
• Fluency in Spanish, English, and French.
• Proven track record in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience in Africa or in Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods will be valued.
• Inspirational leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to manage multicultural and remote teams.
• Knowledge of regulations in emerging markets will be a plus.

Tus principales desafíos

• Diseñar e implementar una estrategia de marketing global y multibrand, adaptada a cada mercado.
• Liderar lanzamientos y campañas que generen impacto y consolidación de marca.
• Gestionar eficientemente el presupuesto internacional y los recursos.
• Coordinar el equipo central y apoyar a los equipos locales en su desarrollo y ejecución.
• Impulsar la inteligencia de mercado e identificar nuevas oportunidades de crecimiento.

Lo que buscamos

• Formación superior en Marketing, Farmacia o Ciencias de la Vida.
• Dominio de los idiomas español, inglés y francés.
• Experiencia demostrable en el sector farmacéutico.
• Se valorará experiencia en África o en Bienes de Consumo de Rápido Movimiento (FMCG).
• Liderazgo inspirador, visión estratégica y capacidad para gestionar equipos multiculturales y remotos.
• Conocimiento de las normativas en mercados emergentes será un plus.

Basé à Barcelone, ce poste jouera un rôle central dans le soutien de nos services pharmaceutiques clés en main, principalement en Afrique.

Vos principaux défis

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre une stratégie marketing globale et multimarque, adaptée à chaque marché.
• Diriger des lancements et des campagnes à fort impact pour consolider nos marques.
• Gérer efficacement le budget international et les ressources.
• Coordonner l’équipe centrale et accompagner les équipes locales dans leur développement et leur exécution.
• Développer l'intelligence marché et identifier de nouvelles opportunités de croissance.

Ce que nous recherchons

• Formation supérieure en Marketing, Pharmacie ou Sciences de la Vie.
