Job summary

Discover International is seeking a senior Market Access/HEOR professional in Spain to lead HTA submissions and develop HEOR strategies across multiple European markets. The role involves pricing, reimbursement activities, and close coordination with local partners to ensure market access for upcoming launches.

The candidate will manage several markets simultaneously, with fluency in English and additional regional languages advantageous, and will adapt global strategies to local payer

Job description

Anticipated Start: End of Q1 / Beginning of Q2 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the preparation of comprehensive HTA submissions across multiple European markets.
• Develop and execute HEOR strategies, including health economic models, evidence generation and adaptation of economic dossiers to local market requirements.
• Drive pricing and reimbursement activities, ensuring alignment with national requirements and regional market access strategies.
• Support market access and launch preparation activities, ensuring timely readiness ahead of upcoming product launches.
• Coordinate with local partners and market representatives across countries without a direct BMS affiliate presence.
• Adapt global and regional market access strategies to local healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways and payer requirements.
• Work across multiple therapeutic areas (preferably: Haematology and onco-haematology, Cardiology, Immunology) and product launches, prioritising deliverables according to local market timelines.

Required Experience

• Significant experience in Market Access and Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong hands-on experience preparing and managing full HTA submissions.
• Demonstrable expertise in pricing and reimbursement across multiple European markets.
• Solid understanding of local HTA frameworks, payer requirements and reimbursement processes, particularly across CEE and Baltic countries.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches and market access preparation.
• Ability to manage several markets and product workstreams simultaneously.
• Experience working with local distributors, partners and market representatives is highly desirable.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages would be advantageous.
