Schütz GmbH & Co. KGaA in Valencia is building an agile software engineering center to develop maritime sensor, navigation, and automation systems. The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, modern software practices, and cross‑location collaboration. A hybrid work arrangement and a competitive compensation package are offered.

You will work with a cross‑functional team to plan, estimate, test, and integrate complex systems while contributing to domain expertise and culture across the site.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience with a CS/engineering degree or equivalent
• Interest in AI-assisted development for maritime navigation and taking responsibility
• Experience with modern software engineering practices
• Strong abstraction skills, willingness to learn, and a high quality mindset; excellent English both written and spoken
• Nice to have: experience with complex software systems and C++, Python, Qt/QML or ROS2

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance maritime sensor-, navigation-, and automation-systems with stakeholders
• Plan and coordinate team activities including estimates, risk management, testing, and integration concepts
• Continuously develop capabilities such as domain understanding, automation, and AI-assisted development
• Help shape the site build-up, engineering culture, methods/processes, efficiency, and innovation
