ALTEN Delivery Centre Spain is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Quality Engineering to join its Valladolid site, contributing to supplier quality, APQP, and industrial transfer activities within the aerospace sector.

The role requires strong English proficiency and experience with quality systems, aiming to ensure compliance with Airbus-like standards and continuous improvement across supplier networks.

Formación

  • Engineering degree in related field.
  • Professional level of English; French language skills are a plus.
  • Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or Supply Chain Quality.

Responsabilidades

  • Supplier Quality & APQP Support deployment and assessments.
  • Monitor supplier readiness during development and industrialization phases.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action plans for non-conformities.
  • Coordinate quality activities during ramp-up and transfer phases.

Key Responsibilities Supplier Quality & APQP Support APQP deployment and industrial maturity assessments. Monitor supplier readiness during product development and industrialization phases. Ensure compliance with Airbus quality requirements and standards. Drive quality improvement plans and supplier performance reviews. Non-Conformity Management Analyze and manage supplier non-conformities. Lead root cause investigations and corrective action plans. Follow-up containment actions and permanent corrective actions. Ensure timely closure of quality issues. Transfer of Work (ToW) Support industrial transfers between suppliers or production sites. Assess industrial risks and readiness before transfers. Coordinate quality activities during ramp-up and transition phases. Monitor supplier performance after implementation. Crisis Management Support recovery plans for critical suppliers. Manage quality and delivery disruptions impacting operations. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to mitigate risks and restore performance. Escalate critical issues and communicate progress to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or Supply Chain Quality. Knowledge of APQP methodologies and industrialization processes. Experience managing non-conformities and corrective action plans. Exposure to supplier development, industrial transfers or crisis management activities. Experience working with suppliers within the aerospace industry. Professional level of English. Nice to Have Airbus experience. Knowledge of 8D, RCCA, FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP/APQP methodologies. Experience with international suppliers and manufacturing sites. Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and regulated environments. French language skills.
