A leading engineering firm is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support their client in Barcelona. The successful applicant will work onsite and will review engineering deliverables, manage documentation, and follow up on manufacturing processes. A relevant engineering degree or significant experience in manufacturing is required, along with fluency in English.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and will be working onsite at our client’s location.

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Review engineering, manufacturing deliverables (procedures, reports, etc);
Control and verify project requirements;
Documentation management and control;
Follow up on engineering activities (e.g. technical documentation during engineering and production phases);
Attend activities at Supplier premises or at his subcontractors’ ones (e.g. materials mechanical testing).

BEng/BSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear Engineering. Alternatively, candidates with vocational training and 5+ years of experience can also be considered;
Experience in the follow-up of the manufacturing of components under a Quality Management System, involving some of the following activities: forming, forging, rolling, joining, welding, machining, assembly, metrology, testing, additive manufacturing;
Experience in the use of codes and standards used for the design and manufacturing of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, etc.);
Experience in the organisation of the production for the manufacturing of mechanical components involving some of the activities: forming, forging, rolling, joining, welding, machining, assembly, metrology, testing, additive manufacturing;
Experience in the definition and/or qualification of joining techniques for mechanical components;
Experience in the design, manufacturing and/or testing of engineering systems to be used under vacuum and/or for cryogenic applications;
Experience in non-destructive testing (RT, PT, VT, UT, etc.);
Knowledge of material heat treatments and/or surface finishing treatments;
Experience in cost control tasks related to manufacturing activities;
Experience in the performance of quality audits or inspections, and in the management of nonconformities related to manufacturing activities;
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU;
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
