Jewish Community Center of Greater KC is hiring for a Manager, Sports & Recreation (Youth Baseball and Softball). The role oversees day-to-day operations, leagues, scheduling, registration, staffing and communication to ensure a high-quality player and family experience.

The position focuses on program growth, fiscal stewardship and training of part-time staff, with flexible evening/weekend hours during the Spring/Summer season and ongoing responsibilities year-round.

Qualifikationen

• Two+ years of experience in a sports and recreation leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or related field.
• Experience in baseball/softball administration preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and planning abilities.

Aufgaben

• Oversees day-to-day baseball/softball leagues operations, scheduling and staff.
• Coach/supervise clinics, programs and camps as needed.
• Manage budgets and revenue opportunities for programs.
• Coordinate with directors and other departments to promote registration.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate part-time staff and umpires.
• Ensure youth protection policies and safety standards are met.
