Position overview
This position is based fully on-site at our Barcelona office.
Key responsibilities
- Be the key legal partner for a fast‑growing international automotive brand.
- Shape compliance, governance, and risk‑management strategies for our European operations.
- Gain exposure to cross‑border legal challenges in Spain, Catalonia, and the wider EU.
- Work closely with senior management in Barcelona and global HQ.
- Provide legal support and advice on business operations in Spain and the EU.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish, Catalan, and EU laws and regulations.
- Support the establishment and implementation of the company’s compliance management system.
- Handle legal disputes, claims, and litigation, coordinating with external law firms when necessary.
- Provide guidance on labor law, data protection (GDPR), and corporate governance matters.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and deliver solutions to mitigate potential risks.
- Prepare regular legal reports and updates for management and HQ.
- Support training sessions to enhance legal and compliance awareness within the company.

Qualifications
- ✅ Bachelor’s degree or above in Law; 8+ years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, commercial law, Catalan law, and EU compliance requirements.
- Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English; Chinese is a plus.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
