• Run end-to-end payrolls for clients in Spain, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Process and validate payroll data including new starters, leavers, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings and reports to local authorities.

We’re hiring a Payroll Manager (Contractor) in Spain to oversee accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for Givver’s customers. You’ll be the local expert, ensuring that all payroll operations adhere to national tax, social security, and employment regulations, while helping us deliver a modern, frictionless experience for employers and employees.

You’ll manage payrolls that include both local and expatriate employees, working directly with clients and collaborating with Givver’s internal teams to streamline processes, improve automation, and ensure quality.

Run end-to-end payrolls for Givver’s clients in Spain, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Process and validate payroll data including new starters, leavers, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.

Handle payrolls for both local and expatriate employees, coordinating cross‑border taxation and social security when relevant.

Prepare and submit statutory filings and reports to local authorities (e.g. tax offices, social insurance bodies).

Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain complete, audit‑ready documentation.

Support the onboarding of new customers by advising on local setup and compliance requirements.

7+ years of payroll experience in Spain, ideally covering multiple clients or entities.

• Strong understanding of local payroll legislation, tax systems, and social security regulations.
• Experience managing expatriate or cross‑border payroll cases.
• Proficiency with local payroll software (e.g. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Customer‑first mindset and enthusiasm for improving how payroll is delivered.
