Jobtailor in Madrid is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager with monthly closings, journal entries, and basic reporting for the French team. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to internal policies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The position requires at least 2 years in accounting or finance, and a strong command of English and French, with good numerical and analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Finance Manager with the monthly closing process, supporting activities such as the preparation and posting of journal entries within the defined framework.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and analysis for the French Finance team.
• Help maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Support monitoring of expenses and assist in tracking indirect spend.
• Prepare data and supporting files for forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Assist in following up on outstanding items (e.g. accruals, invoices).
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Finance team and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct financial processing (e.g. purchasing, sales, operations).
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to basic information requests.
• Attend finance meetings with the Country Leadership Team in a supporting capacity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and tools.
