Job Purpose

Support Risk Analysis in CAMO areas, including contracted providers, to ensure hazard identification and management of investigations related to maintenance events.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the continuing airworthiness part of the SMS program, following Vueling Airlines instructions and regulations.
  • Investigate incidents related to Continuing Airworthiness and perform risk assessments of hazards.
  • Monitor and report safety issues impacting the company.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a Safety Policy for Maintenance, including service providers.
  • Provide safety information to Maintenance staff through training, meetings, and publications.
  • Follow safety standards and industry trends, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with safety authorities and exchange initiatives with other operators.
  • Report MSRs and promote notification of reportable events to improve safety performance.
  • Conduct investigations and risk assessments related to airworthiness issues.
  • Assess safety risks associated with hazards.
  • Assist in designing and monitoring SPIs for Continuing Airworthiness.
  • Interpret flight data for operational exceedances requiring maintenance inspections.
  • Promote operational safety initiatives internally and externally.
  • Perform ad-hoc inspections and investigations outside regular office work.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity) or Aeronautical related to maintenance and/or continuous airworthiness.

Experience

At least 3 years in aeronautical maintenance, specifically with Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family fleets.

Competencies

Analytical skills, Data Management, Assertive Communication, Technical Capacity.

Languages

English C1, Spanish C1.
