Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Maintenance Program Systems Engineer in Getafe (Madrid) to lead MSG-3 analyses for A400M, A330 MRTT, and C-295 programs. You will present analyses to operators and aviation authorities and provide technical support related to maintenance requirements.

The role involves collaboration with multiple disciplines, analysis of design changes, and MRBR/MPD related tasks. Based in Getafe with travel opportunities and a hybrid working model.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems related to the role is preferred.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MSG-3 analyses to identify scheduled maintenance requirements for assigned aircraft.
• Present MSG-3 analyses to operators and authorities (e.g., EASA, INTA/CQC).
• Provide technical support to customers regarding scheduled maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate with Systems, Structure, Zonal, and MPD disciplines as needed.
• Analyze design changes and in-service documentation for MSG-3 impact.
• Contribute to MRBR and MPD through in-service inspection reports analysis.

Job Description

An opportunity for an Maintenance Program Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). Airbus DS Maintenance Programs Department main mission is to ensure the Airworthiness Authorities approval of the Scheduled Maintenance Requirements for A400M aircraft, A330 MRTT and C-295 aircraft (transport, humanitarian and maritime patrol versions). This is done through the MRB process and the MSG-3 methodology. We are in direct contact with Operators and Airworthiness Authorities as part of Maintenance Working Groups, were we present the MSG-3 analysis that are the source data for the Maintenance Review Board Report - MRBR (the MRBR is part of the Instruction for Continued Airworthiness - ICA, required by FAR/CS 25.1529 regulation in order to obtain the aircraft certification)

Responsibilities

• You will perform SYSTEMS MSG-3 analyses in order to identify Scheduled Maintenance Requirements for A400M, A330 MRTT/FSTA, C-295 and other aircraft under our responsibility. You will also present these MSG-3 analyses in front of operators and authorities (mainly EASA and INTA/CQC).
• You will provide technical support to our customers related to scheduled maintenance requirements under your responsibility, with special attention to ASAC Services.
• Collaborate with department’s disciplines (Systems, Structure, Zonal, MPD) when required.
• Analyse aircraft design changes/modifications and In-Service Eng. Documentation (SB´s, OIT, AOT, ..) regarding the impact on the MSG-3 analyses, MRBR and MPD.
• Perform In-service customer maintenance inspection reports analysis for intervals evolutions/escalations exercises for the Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR).
• Development of solutions and customization of Operator's Maintenance Programs.
• Contribution to Customer satisfaction by optimizing tasks intervals and providing support to technical queries.

You will have the opportunity to strengthen your technical and interpersonal skills. Based on Getafe with some opportunities to travel to other Airbus DS and customer facilities.

Skills

• Educated to engineering degree level,
• Knowledge in aircraft maintenance is highly recommended,
• Knowledge in aircraft SYSTEMS (especially of aircraft under our responsibilities) are highly recommended;
• Good presentation skills, both oral and written,
• Ability to cope with highly demanding environment,
• Good co-ordination and relational skills to deal with Customers, Suppliers and other Airbus Defence and Space departments,
