Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Spain seeks an LMA Technician B1/B2 (or B1/B2) to join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases in Gando, performing maintenance and support tasks on Eurofighter aircraft for the Spanish Air Force.

The role covers modification embodiment, upgrades, complex repairs, inspections and component installation, with a proactive, collaborative mindset and flexibility to work at the customer's facilities. A B2 (or B1/B2) license, type rating is a plus, and a hybrid working model is possible.

Qualifications

• EASA or EMAR Part 66 license B2 or B1/B2 is required or highly preferred.
• Type rating included will be a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Continuous improvement profile and quality knowledge or experience.
• Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset is a must due to work at customer facilities.
• Flexibility due to changing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiment or repair working party, managing complex, high value and cross-functional projects compliant with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects.
• Perform checks, inspections, removal and installation of components, and systems adjustment.
• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks.
• Give support to Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections. Maintenance activities will be performed to Eurofighter aircraft.
• Ensure continuous improvement.
