Job summary

ContourGlobal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Plant maintenance team reporting to the Plant Manager, driving strategic maintenance while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with ISO standards. You will direct maintenance planning, issue real-time responses, and oversee training and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will participate in staffing, review maintenance procedures, and manage daily to incident reporting to maximize plant performance and reliability

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in CHP or CSP power plants.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or science-based discipline.
• Be an experienced manager of people in both direct and indirect situations with excellent delegation and team leading skills
• Demonstrable experience of influencing & motivating personnel on Safety matters
• Communicate confidently in written, verbal, and presentational situations as well as having excellent analytical skills
• Leadership ability and strong management skills
• Technical excellence

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with Plant Manager both in daily meetings and through reports
• Review and/or approval of the Maintenance Procedures and Instructions
• Participate in the process of hiring staff in charge
• Supervision and management of daily reports, monthly reports, start up and shutdown reports, incident reports, etc.
• Establish and ensure compliance with the Work Permit System (BFS)
• Attend the Safety and MA rounds carried out by the Plant
• Member of the Management Committee and HSE in the investigation and monitoring of incidents/accidents and regular investigator of work accidents
• Act in case of emergency as a member of the Advisory Committee, or replace members of the emergency team, as defined in the PET
• Organize and coordinate the necessary technical and security training to improve the professional skills of the team
• Communicate the importance of the Management System Requirements
• Promote continuous improvement, leading RCA activities, fostering knowledge sharing and learning across the organization, driving execution of action plans.
• Maintenance of the quality, safety and MA system based on the corresponding ISO standards

As Maintenance Manager, you will join our Maintenance team! In this role, you will report to the Plant Manager and will have the opportunity to be responsible for directing and organizing Plant Maintenance based on dispatch requirements, complying with applicable laws and established procedures, prioritizing the safety of people and equipment in order to achieve maximum plant performance, availability, provide the client with a high standard of quality and take ownership of continuous improvement.

You will plan strategic maintenance activities, respond to any maintenance issues in a timely manner and in real time, and manage maintenance tasks to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards. You will also assume the responsibilities designated under the PEI, including acting as a member of the Advisory Committee or as Alternate Emergency Chief, in the event of an emergency.
