Minimed in Madrid, Spain is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join its product team. You will build and scale cloud-native applications, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a cutting-edge technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of building complex applications.
• Strong proficiency in at least one back-end language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and associated frameworks.
• Expertise in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Significant experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and message queues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment in Madrid.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance full-stack applications.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices using languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing services like Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, etc.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Implement robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
