OW Ocean Winds is seeking an Offshore Foundations Engineer in Madrid to support the Head of Foundations. You will work on early-phase foundation design, supplier management, CAPEX/OPEX estimation, and R&D initiatives across wind projects.

Responsibilities include defining technical inputs for design studies, coordinating interfaces with WTGs and I&T, and supporting due diligence for M&A. A master’s degree in civil/structural engineering and offshore wind experience are preferred.

Formación

• Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; other master disciplines may be considered with experience.
• Fluent in reading technical documentation and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement foundations strategy in early phase projects, including schedule and risk mitigation.
• Manage foundation design studies and support basic/detailed phases.
• Conduct risk assessments for fixed foundations and identify mitigations.
• Support Site Investigation and review geotechnical/geophysical data requirements.
• Prepare design inputs for foundation studies and coordinate interfaces with other packages.
• Prepare tender inputs, including risk assessments and concept descriptions.
• Contribute to CAPEX/OPEX estimates and financial modelling with Procurement/O&M.
• Participate in due diligence for M&A and manage foundation RFP processes.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive innovation for competitiveness.
• Organize technological watch on foundations topics and update design procedures.
