Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Cluster Medical Lead to develop and implement the medical affairs strategy for the company's oncology/immuno-oncology portfolio across the European cluster, in collaboration with the commercial team and aligned with global strategy.

The role leads MSL teams, oversees scientific communications, advisory boards, ESRs, and cross-functional medical operations, with a focus on the lead molecule and collaboration with HCPs across Europe.

Qualifications

• Extensive medical affairs experience in biotech/pharma.
• Expertise in oncology/immuno-oncology aligned with current pipeline.
• Proven leadership of regional or multi-country teams.
• Strong knowledge of medical strategy and cross-functional execution.
• Experience coordinating advisory boards with HCP networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement medical affairs strategy for oncology portfolio.
• Lead scientific communications, education, and congress planning.
• Oversee ESRs and external research aligned to global strategy.
• Manage Country Medical Lead and Field Medical Advisor teams.
• Coordinate with clinical development to align medical activity.
• Act as educational resource for internal stakeholders.
• Lead Cluster Medical Communications plan with Commercial and EU/global plans.
• Establish scientific collaboration with HCPs and academia.
• Drive insights collection and cross-functional strategic planning.
