CHEP in Madrid seeks a Software Testing Engineer to design and implement testing and simulation procedures for MV/ML Inspection Applications within the BAU Patching program. You will develop software modifications to meet CHEP IT Security standards and create automated tools for testing and KPI gathering.

You will work with international teams, using Python and C++ in Linux/Windows environments, and report findings with formal documentation.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience on development in multithreaded Python developments of big and complex software packages.
• Experience working in Machine Learning applications.
• Experience working in Linux & Windows systems.
• Experience in software testing of big software packages.
• Experience in development of tools to automate tasks and processes.
• Experience in C++.
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience in coordination with international multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and complete testing and simulation procedures for MV/ML Inspection Applications.
• Develop software modifications to meet CHEP IT Security standards.
• Create automated tools to assist testing and simulation.
• Gather KPIs from MV/ML systems deployed globally.
• Design and complete development of tools to monitor performance and health in production.
• Coordinate with Plant Infrastructure on deployment of patches and tools.
• Generate formal documentation related to testing procedures, simulations, and tooling.
• Collaborate with IT departments on cyber security patches for MV/ML apps.
• Support development teams like Global Sort & Inspection Development and others.
• Maintain autonomy in completing technical work.
