Thesgc is looking for a Machine Learning Scientist in Barcelona to develop ML methodologies for small-molecule drug discovery. You will collaborate with academic and industry partners and contribute to innovative drug discovery applications using cutting-edge ML techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in relevant fields and experience with Python and ML frameworks. This is a strategic position within a collaborative environment, offering significant opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• PhD in machine learning, artificial intelligence, cheminformatics, or a related discipline.
• Training in drug discovery, medicinal/computational chemistry.
• Proven track record in machine learning applied to small-molecule drug discovery.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of machine learning and deep learning methods for drug discovery.
• Contribute to DEL-ML benchmarking challenges.
• Collaborate closely with international partners and present results at meetings.

Conocimientos

Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methodologies

Strong programming skills in Python

Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments

Excellent command of English

Ability to work independently

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Educación
