Job Title: M&A Corporate Development Manager
About the Job
AS1 is a global football representation agency backed by the investment fund Bruin Capital, born from a network of leading agencies worldwide with a shared vision:
to redefine the way football talent and opportunities are managed — combining global reach, local expertise, and strategic excellence.
We operate at the crossroads of sport, business, and culture, connecting players, clubs, and brands through a long‑term, data‑driven, and human‑centered approach.
With presence in more than 30 leagues and players from over 35 countries, AS1 has become one of the Top‑10 agencies in global football representation.
Now, we are looking for an M&A Corporate Development Manager — a key role to help shape the future growth of AS1 through strategic acquisitions, alliances, and long‑term corporate development.
The Role
As M&A Corporate Development Manager, you will identify, filter, and prioritize strategic opportunities that drive AS1’s global expansion.
You will handle the entire M&A process — from financial valuation and due diligence to negotiation and post‑merger integration — working directly with the CEO and leadership team.
This role demands a balance between strategic vision and operational excellence: you’ll be both the architect and executor of high‑impact transactions that define AS1’s growth trajectory across continents.
What You’ll Do
- M&A Process. You will manage legal, financial, commercial, and other advisors, negotiate purchase documentation, and manage the overall closing process.
- Opportunity Identification: Seek out and analyze new business opportunities, whether new markets or potential acquisitions, alliances, or mergers.
- Transaction Management (M&A). Manage the entire mergers and acquisitions process, from beginning to end, from identifying objectives to post‑merger integration. Financial Analysis: Conduct valuation analysis, projections, financial modelling, and appraisals to assess the viability and potential return on investment of operations. Utilize advanced Excel and industry benchmarks.
- Negotiation. Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements, including collaboration agreements, shareholder agreements, and the transaction structure.
- Due Diligence. Monitor and review the documentation and legal, financial, and operational aspects of the target company to assess risks and validate assumptions.
- Corporate Strategy. Contribute to the company's overall long‑term growth strategy and ensure that M&A transactions align with strategic objectives, collaborating on the integration strategy to optimize processes and improve teamwork.
- Performance Monitoring. Establish key performance indicators to evaluate the status of acquired entities after integration.
