Alpega is seeking a Freight Procurement Consultant to analyze and optimize procurement processes using the TMS, adopt client requirements, and measure KPIs. You will lead workshops, train customers, and document configurations.

The role supports sales, testing, and UAT, with remote work and a permanent contract in a dynamic, international environment. You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team across Europe, contributing to standard solutions and client success while engaging in ongoing

Formación

• Experience in logistics and freight procurement.
• Knowledge of procurement and tender management is a plus.
• Familiarity with interfaces and software solutions.
• Ability to collaborate within an agile environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work remotely.
• Strong communication skills in English; other European languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing Freight Procurement processes and advise optimization with the TMS.
• Adopt customer requirements and align with specialist needs.
• Measure KPIs: customer satisfaction, consulting days, standard vs custom solutions.
• Lead and present professional workshops.
• Train on customer-specific solutions, implementation and configuration.
• Document processes and system configuration in a structured way.
• Support in the sales process and in testing activities.
• Provide input to Product Owners for standard solutions and drafting
• Support UAT and go-live activities.
• Provide ongoing support for operational issues.

About The Role

• Analysis of existing Freight Procurement processes and advising the customer on optimization with the TMS product.
• Adoption of the specialist requirements of the customer.
• Measurement of key performance indicators, including customer satisfaction, number of consulting days sold, and proportion of standard features versus individual solutions.
• Leading and presenting professional workshops.
• Training in customer‑specific solutions, implementation, and configuration.
• Structured documentation of processes and system configuration.
• Support in the sales process.
• Providing input to Product Owners for standard solutions and drafting solutions.
• Support in testing and creation of test cases.
• Accompanying UAT and go‑live.
• Providing support for ongoing operational issues.

What We Look For In You

• Good understanding of logistics/supply chain, transportation logistics, freight forwarding.
• Background or knowledge in procurement and tender management is advantageous.
• Know‑how with interfaces and/or software solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an agile mindset.
• Self‑motivated and able to work remotely.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; other European languages a plus, especially German, French, Spanish.
• Strong people skills and ability to build trusting relationships with customers.
• Understanding of implementation projects.
