Our client is a leading global freight forwarding and logistics company, with operations across the US, UAE, Spain, Netherlands and South Africa. They are expanding operations in the US to support regional growth. As part of their growth plans, they are looking for a driven Logistics Sales E-Manager (Import & Export) to join them.

The role will take care of the logistics and regulatory compliance of shipments, coordinating the import and export processes, managing escalations, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients. The role will also handle the documentation and communication necessary to ensure smooth operations and compliance with trade laws.

The role is based in Spain.

Job responsibilities

• Liaise with shipping lines/airlines for operations & resolve challenges
• Coordinate with the clearing agent for shipment clearance
• Follow up with the import clients for HBL submission and payments prior to delivery
• Support the team for export deliveries, clearance, documents release when required
• Liaise with licensing firms for timely payments to ensure continuity of services

Minimum requirements

• Background in ocean freight management (preferably freight forwarding)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the same industry while working in Spain
• The employee will be on the company's direct payroll
• The employee should be based in Spain
