Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a logistics engineer to define packaging, handling and transport processes for turbine components. You will manage tooling development with suppliers and prepare critical SOPs and BoMs in SAP/TeamCenter.

The role requires FEM experience, SAP/ERP familiarity, and CAD/PLM skills, plus strong English and Spanish. Occasional travel will be needed for continuous improvement across plants and ports.

Qualifications

• MSc in Industrial Engineering (or related field) required.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering and development of logistics equipment.
• Proficiency with CAD/PLM systems: Teamcenter, Windchill, Creo View, AutoCAD.
• Experience with FEM, ERP systems, and SAP.
• MS Office and MS Project proficiency.
• English C1 and Spanish C1 required; German B2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and update packaging, handling, and transport products/processes.

Job description

MISSION

To define and improve logistics processes and specifications, design and validate storage, handling and transportation tools for Nordex turbines, and translate logistics and factory lessons learned into engineering requirements to support wind turbine design improvements.

YOUR TASKS

• Define and update packaging, handling, and transport products/processes
• Manage development and validation of transport tooling with external suppliers
• Prepare technical documentation (Transport Instructions, SOPs, work instructions)
• Create and maintain BoMs and related documentation in SAP/TeamCenter
• Analyze deviations and resolve technical queries (operations, engineering, logistics)
• Support continuous improvement and documentation reviews, which will require traveling to manufacturing plants, ports, site, etc. (~15%)

YOUR PROFILE

• MSc in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the engineering and development of logistics equipment.
• Knowledge of CAD/PLM systems and processes, including Teamcenter, Windchill, Creo View, AutoCAD, and Teamcenter Visualization.
• Experience with FEM, ERP systems, and SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and MS Project.
• English C1 and Spanish C1 required, German B2 preferred
