A logistics management firm in Barcelona is seeking an Outbound Management Specialist to oversee shipping processes, manage customer claims, and monitor delivery schedules. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Administration or Logistics, speaks fluent Italian and Spanish, and has over 2 years of experience in logistics operations. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. This role offers opportunities to work in an international team environment.

Formación

  • 2+ years experience in administration of Logistics operations.
  • Experience in maintaining communication and coordination with service providers.
  • Experience in working in international teams and a multicultural environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage day-to-day outbound shipping process in SAP.
  • Verify orders before transmitting them to the warehouse.
  • Process and release orders for pick and pack according to schedules.
  • Schedule or modify deliveries.
  • Manage customer claims and return process.
  • Proactively monitor delivery times.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports.

Outbound Management
  • Manage day-to-day outbound shipping process in SAP.
  • Verify orders before transmitting them to the warehouse: volume, route, customer requirements, etc.
  • Process and release orders for pick and pack according to agreed daily/weekly/monthly schedules. Choose the optimal (efficient, economic and effective) transport service.
  • Schedule or modify deliveries as appropriate.
Claim Handling and Reverse Logistics
  • Manage customer claims: recording, investigation, collection of supporting documentation, filing, recovery and general administration of assigned claims.
  • Manage the return process and ensure excellent customer experience.
Delivery Monitoring and Reporting
  • Proactively monitor trucks arrival and departure times at the warehouse and customer in order to ensure pick up and delivery times are met.
  • Monitor loading and unloading reports on a daily basis.
  • Take ownership of any delivery-related problems ensuring they are resolved without undue delay.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports according to agreed frequency.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Administration or Higher Vocational Training in Logistics.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in professional email correspondence.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and Spanish. Intermediate level of English.
  • 2+ years experience in administration of Logistics operations.
  • Experience of maintaining communication and coordination with service providers.
  • Experience in working in international teams and a multicultural environment.
