Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Localisation Specialist (Translator) to craft truly localised experiences for Italian-speaking customers. You’ll translate and adapt content across app, website, and emails, ensuring cultural relevance and consistent brand voice.

With native Italian and fluent English, you’ll collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to balance accuracy with creativity, meet daily quotas, and shape long-term content strategy for the Italian market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1+ years localisation/translations experience in a similar field.
• Native Italian with fluent English.
• Excellent writing, editorial, and reviewing skills.
• Experience writing creative and engaging content.
• Experience working at the intersection of copy and transcreation.
• Expertise adapting to a specified tone of voice and brand messaging.
• Data-driven approach with ability to quantify work.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong self-organisation to meet tight deadlines.

We’re looking for a Localisation Specialist (Translator) to help us bring Revolut to Italian-speaking customers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our content isn't just translated, but truly localised and culturally relevant to the market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Copying HTML content
• Delivering high-quality copy adapted in your target language (transcreation) for all types of content produced (app, website, emails, etc.)
• Ensuring daily volume expectations are met
• Adapting long-term strategic brand, tone, and vision to local markets, cultural differences, and perceptions
• Suggesting long-term strategic content projects
• Contributing to live translation updates, maintaining the brand's tone of voice and strategic messaging that aligns to wider company goals

What You'll Need

• Fluency in Italian (native level)
• Fluency in English (C1+ level)
• A bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in localisation/translations, translating content in a similar field
• Excellent writing, editorial, and reviewing skills
• Experience writing creative and engaging content
• A joy for working in the intersection of copy and transcreation
• Expertise adapting to a specified tone of voice and with brand-led strategic messaging
• A data-driven approach and awareness of the importance of appropriately quantifying your work
• Team player abilities with experience collaborating across functions
• Great self-organisation skills to keep cool when working to tight deadlines
