Job summary

Revolut Ltd is seeking a Localisation Specialist (Translator) to bring Revolut content to Arabic and French-speaking customers. You’ll ensure content is not only translated but truly localised and culturally relevant to the market, shaping how we communicate across app, website and emails.

You will work at the intersection of copy and transcreation, maintaining our tone of voice while meeting daily translation targets.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic (native level).
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in French (native level).
• A bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of localisation/translations experience.
• Excellent writing, editorial, and reviewing skills.
• Experience writing creative and engaging content.
• Ability to adapt tone of voice for brand-led messaging.
• Data-driven approach and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Copying HTML content for localization.
• Delivering high-quality copy adapted in Arabic, French, and English for app, website, and emails.
• Ensuring daily volume expectations are met.
• Adapting brand tone and vision to local markets and cultural differences.
• Suggesting long-term strategic content projects.
• Contributing to live translation updates and maintaining brand messaging.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Copying HTML content
• Delivering high-quality copy adapted in your target language (transcription) for all types of content produced (app, website, emails, etc.)
• Ensuring daily volume expectations are met
• Adapting long-term strategic brand, tone, and vision to local markets, cultural differences, and perceptions
• Suggesting long-term strategic content projects
• Contributing to live translation updates, maintaining the brand’s tone of voice and strategic messaging that aligns to wider company goals

What You’ll Need

• Fluency in Arabic (native level)
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in French (native level)
• A bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in localisation/translations, translating content in a similar field
• Excellent writing, editorial, and reviewing skills
• Experience writing creative and engaging content
• A joy for working in the intersection of copy and transcreation
• Expertise adapting to a specified tone of voice and with brand-led strategic messaging
• A data-driven approach and awareness of the importance of appropriately quantifying your work
• Team player abilities with experience collaborating across functions
• Great self-organisation skills to keep cool when working to tight deadlines
