Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an experienced AI researcher focused on large language models based in Spain. You will investigate challenges in model architecture, data curation, distributed training, and reinforcement learning, designing ambitious programs and translating discoveries into scalable, production-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of applied deep learning research experience.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures, their applications, and loss functions.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, data curation, distributed training, transformer optimization, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with autoregressive and seq2seq transformer models.
• Distributed computing and large-scale data processing knowledge.
• Experience designing and conducting research experiments and using findings to improve models.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for complex topics.
• Self-directed mindset with rapid idea testing in AI-first environments.
• Interest in translating scientific advances into practical applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers to identify and develop new LLM initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize existing methods.
• Plan and execute experimental programs for LLM development.
• Research and improve transformer architectures and training methods.
• Lead large-scale LLM training using distributed infrastructure.
• Improve data curation strategies and training efficiency.
• Translate experimental results into scalable production-ready models.
• Contribute to deployment of new models into products.
• Document findings and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Monitor latest DL/LLM developments and potential product applications.
• Automate workflows to accelerate experimentation and productivity.
