Job summary

North, a Barcelona-based digital product studio, seeks a Conversational AI Designer to craft non-deterministic experiences powered by LLMs. You will partner with internal and external teams to study, prototype, measure and improve the world’s best conversational experiences.

Ideal candidates deeply understand LLM behavior, can map use cases for design, engineering and product, and test conversational agents to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a conversational designer working on non-deterministic experiences built on LLMs.
• Solid understanding of how LLMs work and how that shapes conversational design decisions.
• Experience identifying, analyzing and diagramming use cases for conversational products.
• Hands-on testing of conversational agents and interpreting results.
• Experience collaborating with data teams on prompt definition and iteration.
• Experience defining evaluators and frameworks to measure conversational quality.

Responsibilities

• Design non-deterministic conversational experiences built on LLMs for assistants and agents.
• Identify and diagram use cases for design, engineering and product teams.
• Run tests on conversational agents and iterate based on results.
• Collaborate with data teams on prompt design and refinement.
• Define evaluators and quality frameworks to measure performance.
• Ensure a coordinated, coherent experience across design patterns.
