A leading lighting design company in Barcelona is seeking a dedicated Product Engineer to develop new lighting systems. Candidates should have a higher technical education in Product Engineering and at least 2 years of mechanical engineering experience. Proficiency in 3D-CAD design programs is essential, with Solid Edge being a bonus. The successful applicant will engage in detailed engineering tasks, support prototypes, and answer technical queries within the team. English and Spanish proficiency is required to apply.

Formación

• Successfully completed (higher) technical education in the field of Product Engineering.
• Min. 2 years work experience in a similar position in mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge of design for manufacturing of processes such as plastic injection, die-casting, machining, 3D printing, sheet metal.

Responsabilidades

• Development and construction of new lighting systems using 2D and 3D design programs.
• Detailed engineering of luminaires for serial manufacturing.
• Creation of construction drawings, parts lists and working schedules.
• Answering technical questions from production and final assembly.
• Supporting prototype production and preparation of assembly instructions.
