Job summary
Medtronic is seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Lead based in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid region), onsite. You will supervise warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and Value-Added Services to support regional distribution, while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.
The role requires 7+ years in supply chain/warehouse roles, leadership experience, and fluency in Spanish and English; experience with SAP WM/WMS is essential in a regulated medical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
- Experience leading warehouse teams in a distribution center or logistics environment.
- Proven background in the medical devices or healthcare sector.
- Experience with SAP WM/WMS systems.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and Value-Added Services (VAS) operations.
- Provide operational support for logistics activities to ensure efficient and compliant product flow across the distribution network.
- Coach and develop warehouse team members, including performance management and workload prioritization.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and material movement through SAP WM systems.
- Ensure compliance with logistics procedures, transportation requirements, quality standards, and operational policies.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, products, and supplies.
- Review and validate shipping documentation, freight records, packing lists, bills of lading, and system transactions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, inventory control, and service levels.
