Job summary

The LMFT will work with individuals, couples, and families facing conflict, communication problems, parenting concerns, or other issues affecting family life. The therapist will help clients examine relationship patterns, address concerns, and work toward healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another.

This role includes clinical records, case follow-up, and referrals when services are needed outside therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Active LMFT license in Iowa.
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Comfortable providing services through telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families
• Review family history, relationship concerns, and current circumstances
• Help clients address communication difficulties, conflict, parenting concerns, and major life changes
• Establish a clear focus for therapy based on the issues discussed during sessions
• Maintain complete and current clinical records
• Recognize when additional services or outside referrals may be appropriate
• Respond to clinical or safety concerns according to established procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Iowa licensing and professional requirements

Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

The LMFT will work with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing conflict, communication problems, parenting concerns, relationship changes, or other issues affecting family life. The therapist will help clients examine patterns within their relationships, address concerns as they arise, and work toward healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another. This position also includes responsibility for clinical records, case follow-up, and referrals when a client needs services outside the scope of therapy.
