Revolut is seeking a Generalist Legal Counsel to analyze legal issues in new markets and help build scalable expansion processes. You will provide practical advice to support fast growth while ensuring compliance and risk management across jurisdictions.

The role involves advising on product launches, licensing, and entity setups, with significant responsibility for ongoing development and leadership within a global legal team.

Formación

• 3+ years PQE in financial services or fintech.
• Experience advising on financial services matters.
• Fluency in English with strong stakeholder management.

About The Role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We're looking for a generalist Legal Counsel to analyze legal issues in new markets and foreign jurisdictions, and help build out processes to scale legal expansion operations.

The breadth of work you'll encounter (and level of commercial involvement) is pretty unique for an in-house role, so you'll have a large degree of responsibility for ongoing development and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring and launch of new products in new markets
• Supporting Heads of Legal in new markets manage legal risks and their team
• Reviewing licensing applications for requests for authorisations in new markets
• Supporting the setting up of entities in new markets
• Helping to structure our processes to incorporate legal workload and risk into expansion methods
• Engaging and working alongside team members around the world
• Excelling at leadership while also undertaking executional work
• Handling significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of PQE
• Excellent academic and law firm credentials
• Experience advising on financial services matters
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence making decisions where there's ambiguity or incomplete information
• Experience understanding legal issues in new jurisdictions
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluency in English
