The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of contract management experience in large-scale projects, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work within diverse teams. Formación

A Snapshot of Your Day

Join a dynamic team of Contract Managers and Legal Counsels as you help shape the energy landscape of the future! In this pivotal role, you will support Siemens Gamesa’s Wind Power Onshore business by managing contractual matters throughout project execution. You will analyze contracts, identify risks, negotiate agreements, and provide essential advice to project and site management on large-scale projects. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the success of our initiatives and advancing sustainable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • You will provide expert advice and support for customer contracts, consortium agreements, and sub-contracts, ensuring Siemens Gamesa’s rights and entitlements are strictly protected.
  • You will assist in contractual and commercial matters, including change order processes and the review and drafting of relevant correspondence.
  • You will identify all relevant technical, commercial, and contractual aspects to support the development of project-specific claim strategies.
  • You will contribute to pursuing and defending incoming and outgoing claims by collecting and advising on relevant project records, documentation, and all pertinent facts.
  • You will perform quantum or delay analyses to establish causation for relevant events impacting the project schedule and/or scope of work.
  • You will collaborate with other legal teams, providing support in substantiating relevant facts for claiming quantum, extension of time, and establishing factual defenses in arbitration proceedings.

  • You hold an academic degree in law, a technical field, or business administration.
  • You have extensive experience in contract and claim management for large-scale projects, including analyzing and drafting contracts, and are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. More than 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • You have experience working within internationally staffed teams and with contractual partners, and you are willing to travel domestically and internationally (10‑15%): South Europe and Africa.
  • You possess excellent English communication and writing skills B2+, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels. French will be a plus.
  • You have strong negotiation skills and can effectively support a cross‑functional team.
  • You are a collaborative individual who can also work independently and thrive in a challenging environment. Familiarity with contract terms and conditions of international EPC and construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC) is preferred, along with experience in energy markets, though not required.
