Job summary

Sika Spain is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer based at the Alcobendas office (Madrid) to strengthen our legal and compliance framework and promote an ethical, transparent culture across the organisation.

The role focuses on providing legal support, supervising key compliance matters, and implementing corporate policies to mitigate legal, financial and reputational risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the business, with a strong focus on commercial law, advising on matters related to both customers and suppliers.
• Monitor and supervise regulatory requirements related to sustainability, environmental matters, and Quality Management Systems, including frameworks such as CSDDD, CBAM and PPWR.
• Support, supervise and coordinate activities related to GDPR compliance and insurance management.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors to ensure efficient and consistent legal support.
• Lead and support Compliance activities, including the implementation of Group compliance policies such as Crisis Management Manual Whistleblowing Channel Legal Risk Matrix and drive the standardisation of legal review processes (contracts, claims and training), based on corporate documentation, to improve efficiency, consistency and traceability.
