Ideal candidates will have a law degree, 5+ years of legal experience, and robust skills in contract law and negotiation. Fluent English is required, and Spanish is a plus. Planet Pharma are partnered with a Biotech who are looking for a Legal Business Partner with strong expertise in contract law, pharma and biotech business models, intellectual property (IP), and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will play a key part in building our clients startup’s legal framework, managing all contract negotiations, and supporting the growth of our innovative products and client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal and compliance advice on business-critical matters, especially in pharma, biotech, and AI
• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of MSAs, Work Orders, Amendments, and other client / partner agreements
• Work with teams across the company to create client-focused contracts and manage risk
• Develop and promote legal best practices and policies for clients needs
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and external partners, guiding business units on legal risk

Key Requirements

• Law degree or equivalent with relevant legal experience
• 5+ years of legal experience, ideally in pharma, biotech, or related tech sectors
• Strong skills in contract law and negotiation (MSAs, Work Orders, Amendments, etc.)
• Experience with intellectual property matters
• Excellent communication and business understanding
• Practical, solution-focused approach suited for a fast-paced startup
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
• Experience in managing and negotiating contracts for SaaS (Software as a Service)
