Sita - Société Internationale De Télécommunications seeks a senior engineering leader to shape Datalink Monitoring and Configuration systems for its global infrastructure. You will guide cross-functional teams, set engineering standards, and drive secure, scalable modernization across legacy assets.

You will mentor distributed teams, define backlogs, develop telemetry and observability features, and apply AI-powered tools to improve delivery quality and operational efficiency.

Formación

• 10+ years in lead technical/engineering roles for large-scale software systems.
• Fluent in professional English.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and software architecture.
• Experience with APIs (REST, SNMP, TCP/IP) and microservices.
• Strong leadership and mentoring across distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define and design system requirements for next-generation Datalink Monitoring and Configuration systems.
• Lead technical reviews and guide engineers across design, implementation, and validation activities.
• Enforce high-quality, secure-by-design engineering practices and observability standards.
• Mentor and coordinate distributed engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Drive modernization of legacy monitoring and provisioning assets with operational continuity.
• Define backlog aligned with roadmaps and business objectives.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, PMs, and operations to translate requirements into capabilities.
• Develop and maintain telemetry, alerting, visualization, and operational features.

In this role you shape and deliver next-gen Datalink monitoring, observability, provisioning, and configuration systems for SITA’s global infrastructure. You’ll guide cross-functional teams, set engineering standards, and drive secure, scalable modernization of legacy assets. You’ll leverage AI tools to improve delivery quality and operational efficiency. • Experience with APIs (REST, SNMP, TCP/IP), microservices, backend distributed systems
• Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka) and software integration/configuration management
• Proven ability to lead engineers technically and drive design reviews
• Proficiency with AI-powered engineering tools for requirements, analysis, and documentation
