Job summary

The role requires strong expertise in fiscal policy, redistribution, and international collaboration, with a focus on local finance and intergovernmental engagement. Fluency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics or public finance.
• Experience advising government on fiscal policies.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy advisory support on subnational public finance and fiscal policy coherence.
• Lead analytical work and stakeholder engagement to improve fiscal redistribution.
• Represent UNDP in global fora and with ministries to advance SDG delivery.
• Support design and monitoring of subnational reform programs.
