AVS Added Value Solutions is expanding its Space Division and seeks a Lead Software Engineer to own software and firmware architectures for satellite missions and ground systems. You will lead the software team, drive lifecycles of FSW and GSW, and partner with Systems Engineering and Operations to ensure robust, compliant software across space programs.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, strategic decision making, and mentoring in a flexible hybrid setup across Spain/UK.

Formación

• Solid hands-on embedded C/C++ software development experience.
• Experience with Linux-based environments and real-time OS.
• Familiarity with space industry protocols and FDIR concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and expand the AVS Software team and manage delivery lifecycle.
• Serve as technical authority for Flight Software (FSW) and Ground Software (GSW).
• Direct design, development, and testing of FSW/GSW; build robust CI/CD infrastructure.
• Define software development standards to ensure compliance with space industry protocols.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, AIV, and Operations for software expertise.
