A leading technology recruitment agency is seeking a Lead Software Engineering Consultant to join their team in Madrid. This role focuses on delivering technical solutions in client-facing environments. You will work with the latest technologies, optimize code, and configure databases. Candidates should have experience in Java, Python, Node.js, or Go, with favorable consideration for MongoDB experience. Fluent Spanish is required. This is a long-term B2B contract with competitive pay.

Lead Software Engineering Consultant - Long Term B2B contract €100,000

The Job

As a Software Engineer in this role you will be working in highly technical environments and using the latest technologies to help organisations through complex challenges. You will be an engineer as part of a Delivery team and will have full autonomy in how you work and take full ownership of your projects. You will become the field expert with MongoDB (full training provided) and be able to utilise your full skillset in wide range of cutting-edge and large-scale projects.

This is a varied role, you could be optimizing code one day but will be sizing hardware the next and installing and configuring databases the day after

About You

You should be Software Engineer who is comfortable in client facing environments and able to communicate clearly and educate peers to be able to deliver technical solutions. You should be proficient in one or more of the following (in no particular order) : Java, Python, Node.js, Go, - and of course any previous experience with MongoDB would be highly desirable but by no means essential.

You should have a good grasp of the Linux Command Line and good experience / knowledge in DevOps practices and task such as server configuration.

Salary & Location

€50 - 60 p / h - Long term 12month rolling contract (B2B)
