IMDEA Networks Institute in Madrid invites outstanding researchers to apply for a Research Associate Professor position in the Resilient AI Networking Lab. The role focuses on building and leading a funded research team in networking, with opportunities to drive ambitious projects and collaborations.

Candidates should have a PhD in CS/EE, a strong publication record, and a proven ability to attract funding. English proficiency is required; Spanish language skills are not necessary.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with significant networking research experience.
• Record of high-impact publications in the field.
• Proven track record in developing transferable technologies through patents and licensing.
• Strong English proficiency; Spanish not required.
• Experience leading research teams and funding proposals.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct cutting-edge research in computer networking and network science.
• Build and fund a strong team of researchers, including PhD Students, postdocs, and staff; supervise PhD students.
• Publish regularly in leading conferences and journals.
• Identify and lead proposals for funded research projects, contracts and grants.
• Establish and maintain collaborations with partner institutions and industry.
• Develop transferable IPR and contribute to standards bodies.
• Manage your own research budget and attract funds for the Institute.
