CloudLinux Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to lead the team building and operating the email security product line. You will guide a remote, senior squad of engineers across multiple domains, ensuring reliable releases and strong technical direction.

The role blends leadership (60%) with hands-on engineering (40%), requiring deep technical judgment, end-to-end system understanding, and the ability to coach engineers in an AI-augmented workflow. Fully remote work is offered.

Formación

• 5+ years as a software engineer with 2+ years leading a team in a product company.
• Strong Linux proficiency; comfortable reading production code in Python/Go and debugging live systems.
• Track record of shipping and operating a distributed backend service under real production load.
• Professional proficiency in English and ability to work EU hours.

Responsabilidades

• Turn the product backlog into a credible, sequenced engineering plan with estimates and release cadence.
• Lead the team's weekly cadence and report delivery status with real numbers.
• Own architecture and ADRs for the email stack; make build-vs-buy trade-offs.
• Review critical-path code and designs; ensure tests, observability, and safe rollout.
• Act as incident commander for product-impacting events with documented post-mortems.
• Lead a distributed team across the globe with 1:1s, hiring, and mentorship.
