Materialise’s Staff department seeks an IT Security Engineer to define long‑term security strategy and design, protecting Materialise commercial and internal applications and data. You’ll collaborate with global IT infrastructure and development teams to implement secure infrastructure and testing practices.

You will translate regulatory requirements into actions, guide security measures, coach junior engineers, and coordinate incidents.

Formación

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent by experience.
5–10 years of experience in a strong security environment; relevant security certifications are an added value.
High level cybersecurity skills (network and infrastructure) and endpoint protection skills.

Responsabilidades

Provide ownership for our Network and Security infrastructure.
Guide the implementation of security measures in different areas.
Enforce governance, provide support and operational escalation for the production security environment.
Be point of contact for all security related issues.
Translate regulatory compliance requirements into implementation actions.
Design a secure framework in which the business is allowed to navigate in.
Train/coach junior security engineers.
Manage and coordinate critical incidents.
Design strategic view on a secure network environment.
